Jiri Lukavsky

I'm a researcher in cognitive psychology and visual perception at Charles University and at the Academy of Sciences, currently working on attention and scene perception. My work focuses on eye movements, visual memory, and multiple object tracking.

I previously conducted research investigating how people track multiple moving objects and process complex visual scenes. I have worked extensively with eye tracking methodology to understand attention allocation and memory processes during dynamic visual tasks.

My recent projects explore how people memorize and perceive complex scenes, including studies on boundary extension effects, scene categorization, and the relationship between scene properties and memory performance. I'm particularly interested in understanding how visual attention and memory systems work together when processing real-world dynamic stimuli. I also collaborate on studies examining cognitive training, aging, and educational applications.
